Probably the first thing you want to ask is: "How much will this cost?". The good news is that your celebrant's fee is likely to be one of the least expensive (though certainly one of the most important) components of your wedding day.
My fee structure is quite competitive and generally includes:
- an initial no obligation-meeting;
- unlimited phone and email consultation;
- lodgement of the Notice of Intent to Marry;
- a comprehensive booklet of sample ceremonies, ideas and suggestions guaranteed to inspire;
- a personalised ceremony;
- however many drafts it takes to get your ceremony just right;
- professional indemnity and public liability insurance;
- an on-site wedding rehearsal;
- PA system for readings and ceremony;
- a presentation copy of your marriage ceremony;
- a signing table;
- all legal documentation and registration of your marriage;
- all my transport costs;
- GST.
As no two weddings are exactly the same and different couples have different requirements my fee varies so please contact me to discuss your ceremony requirements. I also offer a reduced fee for weekday or Sunday ceremonies.
I think it's interesting to compare the cost of a Civil Celebrant and the freedom of choice they offer you regarding venue, ceremony style, time and number of guests with a Registry Office marriage.
At a Registry wedding the Registry provides the marriage vows, the ceremony takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes and you can have up to 12 guests.
Fees for a Registry Office MarriageAll fees are shown in the table below (prices include GST). Note - prices shown do not include the issue of Marriage Certificates
